Mic Mell is committed to excellence, and fulfilling artistic visions. He has worn many hats in his career, including composer, bandleader, artist and label development consultant, performer, mixing/mastering engineer, session musician, freelance writer, audio post production, label owner, and event promoter. Mic is well versed in many styles of music, including funk, hip hop, electronic (of all styles), reggae, blues, jazz, dub, rock, and avant-garde. He has toured across the U.S. with several projects as a keyboardist, bass player, and electronic musician.
He has a passion for the music business. Specifically, the fundamental shift in the way music is created, bought, and enjoyed.   He is actively involved in the independent music scene, the primordial ooze where new music and styles are born and bands evolve into tomorrow’s stars.
Through his Full Self Expression project, Mic empowers artists, musicians, labels, and music and new media companies to success by working with them in developing branding, communication, leadership, team dynamics, and building and maintaining contacts. Mic is a firm believer in the power of community, and connects people and organizations together to create a web of success.
